Questions and Answers

Most Frequently Asked Questions with Their Answers

This page is under construction. Your questions will be answered, and we will place the most frequently asked questions on this page for everyone to share.

Q: When will GoodStoryADay Stories be available for kids?
A: Our Grand Opening Target Date will be before the end of 2008. We can hardly wait, and I am sure the same is true of you. If you subscribe to GoodStoryADay before that date, we will be sure to send you an e-mail announcing this great event.

Q: If I submit a story or art, what happens to it?
A: Click on Contests and read the rules and processes for submitting your story or art if you are not an adult. If you are a teacher or other concerned adult, a parent, an author, or a celebrity, click on the appropriate link.

Q: Do I still own my story or art if I submit it to you?
A: Yes, your story or art is considered your intellectual property unless you sell the rights to it in a sales agreement or as part of an agreement for contest entries. Always read contest rules carefully. You are encouraged to copyright your work before you send it to us or to anyone. All you have to do to copyright your work is place the word or symbol (copyright ©) on your work (comma), your name (comma), and the year of copyright. You are protected under the copyright laws of the U.S. Government. See www.copyright.gov.

Q: When I subscribe to GoodStoryADay, what do I get?
A: You get your GoodStoryADay Story for your age group every day, 365 days a year, and an extra one on leap year. You get the 365+1 Good Words, Good Quotes, Good Journal pages, Good Questions with the possibility of being the first person to answer the question correctly and win the prize of the day, Good Images to view and Good Laughs to enjoy.

You also have access to our library of free Solution Stories that can help you work through a problem you might be having. These stories are mainly written by kids just like you!

You also get to Enter GoodStoryADay Contests, win prizes, and more importantly you get to participate in some of our free GoodStoryADay Online and Teleconferencing Classes. You can get reduced rates for our fee-based courses and some of the courses that other organizations offer.

The best part of it all: You get to Showcase your talents in a variety of ways. Soon we will have a book, magazine, newspaper, newsletter, and journal produced for, about, and by kids. We will also have radio, TV, and Internet programs, stage productions, and movies all produced, directed, and starred in by kids. Soon, you can offer your work for sale in our store with a large percentage of the sale going to you.

As you can see, there is a great deal happening and we are just getting started to help you focus on GOOD, say "I CAN," showcase your TALENTS, and manifest GOODNESS!

Q: What is the Question of the Day and how can I win the prize for the day?

A: Each day, the first person who sends in the correct answer will receive a prize. The entire family can answer the question. Some questions will be very simple and some very difficult. Like the Millionaire Game on TV, the difficulty of the question will be tied to the value of the prize. The harder the question -- the greater the value of the prize.

You will be notified if you are the winner. You will not be notified if you are not.

Many people will undoubtedly answer the question correctly each day, but the one from whom we receive the CORRECT ANSWER FIRST will be the prize winner for the day. So send in your answer as early as you can each day and you might become the recipient of a great prize.

All questions are multiple-choice with answers: A, B, C, D, as the only possible answers. You and your family can only submit one answer per day.

Q: What is your Privacy Policy?
A: Our GoodStoryADay Online Privacy Policy simply states that we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the users of our site. Any personal data collected from you by GoodStoryADay will be used only for the purposes for which it is given. It will never be sold, rented, or in any other way given to anyone other than GoodStoryADay. Your privacy is extremely important to us, and we will do all within our power to protect it! Each contest has its own rules about presenting your work and name on this site. Each submission form for submitting stories to be used on this site also caries with it further protection for you in privacy and copyright.

Q: What is your Guarantee?
A: If you are not 1,000% satisfied with the quality, excitement, fun, goodness, and integrity of GoodStoryADay, simply request your money back for GoodStoryADay (minus the $1.35 processing fee) and you can keep all you have received. Your money will be returned, no questions asked! You will be taken off our e-mail list, and we wish you all goodness. (If at anytime within that year, you wish to return to GoodStoryADay, you will not have to pay the $1.35 processing fee again.
