Sometimes we are faced with difficulties, and we just don’t know where to turn for help. This Solution Stories page is a place you can click on and within moments you get to meet other kids and teens just like you. They have similar problems and have learned to overcome them, out grow them, or live successful lives with them.

These difficulties encompass many types of problems, from shyness to cancer, from being a bully to being intimidated by bullies, from having a physical illness to having a mental illness. Problems like being alone, not having friends, not being able to express yourself, not feeling good about yourself, or being called a dummy – all have solutions. Problems like being “too smart,” “too good looking,” “too social,” “too confident,” or “too popular,” have solutions, too. All you need to do is click on the problem area to discover Solution Stories that are just right for you.

If we don’t have a category that addresses the problem you face, then write us, and we will look for stories that will help you with a solution to your problem.

The Solution Stories section of this site is currently under construction. Keep coming back for the Grand Opening of our Solution Stories!

If you have a Solution Story that you would like to share on this site, please follow the following guidelines.

You do not need to copy the style of any of the sample Solution Stories. Your unique approach will be greatly enjoyed by all.

If you have any questions, email: solutionstory@goodstoryaday.com.

How to Submit Your Solution Story to GoodStoryADay
1. Present the problem briefly as in a story with characters and a plot. Even though these stories are all real, they are best told as stories, not as an article or medical report. Don’t dwell on the problem, let us enjoy the solution. How the problem was overcome, handled or lived with in such a way that life was a triumph, not a failure.

  2. In the subject line of an email to solutions@goodstoryaday.com, write problem area and Your Last Name.

  3. In the body of the email, write your proposed title. Include the source of the story, if it is taken from one of your published works.

  4. Give your name the way you want it to appear as the author of the story, a credit line, and your city, state, and country of residence. If for privacy reasons you do not want your name published, please state so, and we will respect your request.

  5. Write or cut and paste your 200- to 1,000-word story in the body of your email. No Attachments, please.

You will be notified when the story is accepted and when it will appear to help children everywhere. At that time you will be asked to sign a release form, and approve of any copy editing we may have done.

If you have any questions, email: solutions@goodstoryaday.com.

Place Solution Question and your last name in the subject line. No attachments, please.
